Yes. It has been over a month since I’ve posted anything. It’s the niche that I have been trying to get into, especially with this summer job at a summer camp and it has been nothing short of amazing. I have had rough times and good times, I have had fun moments and not-so-fun moments, but through it all it has been quite a ride. Being a camp leader, really requires a lot of grit, strength, determination, patience and most importantly love. It is the constant reminder that you’re purpose there is to be that impact in their life, to be a hero, to be someone they can look up to. Frustrations and human impatience really does get in the way of things, but if we just step back for a moment and try to understand why we feel these things, the root of it all is that you want what’s best for these kids. It’s that moment to check yourself and put yourself in the shoes of the kids. I think that everything has to be lively and ‘out there’ for the kids. The people that I’ve worked with this summer has been incredible and I’ve learned so much about who I am and the kind of person that I want to become. It’s being humble and understanding that allows a person to grow. It’s that humble confidence that we need as camp leaders for us to be the best in what we do. I’m still trying to take in the 5 and 1/2 week that I have already worked and the amount things I’ve learned about working with children. So another 2 and 1/2 weeks until camp is over and I’m just trying to absorb every moment of it and it has been brutally awesome. We’ve had rainy days, we’ve had sunny days, but it’s the ability to take that day and make it yours, that will determine the outcome of it.

About the MCAT, I’ve read through a little bit of the physics portion of the MCAT and Kaplan does a pretty amazing job by making the sciences very interesting and entertaining. I think that’s all for now. live your life. no regrets. I’ll be making my impossible list very soon, inspired by http://www.joelrunyon.com/two3/the-impossible-list. Or I could make something a little bit like it.
